Sensory symposium Pangborn
We were present at the Sensory symposium in Pangborn this summer, were we had the chance to share the behind-the-scenes of our collaboration with Jules Destrooper. If you missed this event, we have wrapped it up in a one-pager that’s easy to digest.

So, what’sthe story?
Working with Jules Destrooper was an interesting challenge. They had this ambitious idea for a filled sandwich waffle, and our job was to make sure it was not just tasty on paper but market-ready in real life.
To do that, we used a multi-layered innovation process.
- Consumer testing gave us the first signals: what people liked, what felt off.
- Our sensory panel zoomed in on the details behind those reactions: the exact crunch, the right level of creaminess, the texture cues that matter most.
- And then Try & Tell, our AI-powered video platform, added a whole new dimension. It captured reactions in people’s kitchens and automatically scanned and summarized responses, highlighting key insights and recurring themes for faster decisions.
Every round, we connected the dots. Where consumers said “too sweet”, sensory told us why. Where the panel flagged a texture mismatch, in-home testing showed how that played out in real snacking moments.
That combination of technical precision and real-world emotion is what turned good prototypes into a product that was not just delicious but truly felt like Jules Destrooper.
And that is when you know a launch is ready.
